Boundary Changes for Congregations and Secrecy

right now the congregations in winnipeg are undergoing major boundary changes which will be put in action at the beginning of february.

our congregation is supposed to find out today but i decided to ask some people i knew who went the previous meeting if we were going to be put together with the people at our old congregation who are shunning me.

even though they knew, they refused to tell me because "the society" told them not to tell us.

Even though they knew, they refused to tell me because "the society" told them not to tell us. It wasn't a big deal to me because I was going to find out soon enough anyways, but it was the principle of it. On top of that, I was told there was a HUGE talk that kept drilling in the point of obeying and going to whatever congregation we were told to go to no matter what the circumstances! What if going to a certain congregation is hindering your spirituality?! Anyways, I will hear it first hand tonight and I will probably follow up on this.

regardless of your religious background, how many of you have had any type of a paranormal or supernatural experience, good or bad?.

i've known a number of people who have tried ouija boards.

most had just creepy feelings, but one had a nasty experience.

at the last elders school i heard from a few different attendees that the average age was easily 60+.

there will be a lot of elders gone within the next 10yrs.

there is nowhere near enough young brothers to replace these ageing elders.

Very true. Thats probably why they are on a frantic campagne to recruit more men. They are constantly saying the need to go at a time when men are at home, or if the woman answers, then ask for the man of the house. So very true

Do you think the WTS is about to change the doctrine about 1914? If so, what are the signs that is under way?

what the title says.

do you think the wts doctrine that says that christ was made king in 1914 is about to change?

if you think that's being orchestrated and prepared, do you see signs of that already?

They probably are going to try at some point. but for now its really hard because the house of cards would come tumbling down if they didnt find something else to support their doctrines on. The could also just fade it out by just refering to it less, but they seem to still be gung ho on the date for now.

alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

I'm so offended by what happened today at the KIngdom Hall!!

so today we were late for the meeting as usual.

this is because i take a really bad medication where i literally cannot function in the first part of the day but without it i am even worse.

we got there near the end of the talk and it was in my opinion very anoying.

If you think she is judgemental, just wait until i post my big story. Its 100 times worse. Its long though, so I have to wait until I have the time and patience
